Since its inception in 1991, the Eco Park has always been rooted in a commitment to outdoor education and helping people to experience nature. Learn more about the new owners in this article from the Sudbury Star!

Located on beautiful Manitoulin Island, Manitoulin Eco Park is a quiet oasis away from the buzz of the city, with private wilderness campsites, tipi-tenting, bunkies, hammock camping, on-site activities to keep the kids busy, a summertime calendar of events, and star-filled night skies like you have never seen before. Gordon’s Park is proud to be a recipient of the Attractions Canada Award, as well as being named the 2015 Campground of the Year (small category) by Camping in Ontario. Manitoulin Eco Park is also a Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (R.A.S.C) designated Dark Sky Preserve and a top destination for astronomers and star-gazers from Canada and around the world. As an Eco Park, we are off the grid (no hydro-electric). However we do have WIFI and a charging station. Our NEW user-friendly website is being designed!

We are currently CLOSED. When the Eco Park is open to the public, we offer Mini Putt passes ($7 per person), Hiking Passes ($5 per person), and Night Passes ($10 per person – visit the DarkSky Preserve without spending the night, and enjoy the beautiful view!)

No additional events are scheduled for 2021.  You can see the Astronomy Events schedule, event descriptions, and purchase tickets here (not available by phone or email): https://www.manitoulinecopark.com/darksky-events
