Welcome To Gordon’s Park – Book Now 2021
Since its inception in 1991, the Park has always been rooted in a commitment to outdoor education and helping people to experience nature. Learn more about the new owners in this article from the Sudbury Star!
Located on beautiful Manitoulin Island, Gordon’s Park is a quiet oasis away from the buzz of the city, with private wilderness campsites, tipi-tenting, bunkies, hammock camping, on-site activities to keep the kids busy, a summertime calendar of events, and star-filled night skies like you have never seen before. Gordon’s Park is proud to be a recipient of the Attractions Canada Award, as well as being named the 2015 Campground of the Year (small category) by Camping in Ontario. Gordon’s Park is also a Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (R.A.S.C) designated Dark Sky Preserve and a top destination for astronomers and star-gazers from Canada and around the world. Our Park is an eco park, and therefor off the grid (electricity). However we do have WIFI and a charging station for those that need electrical service.
All individual and family rentals must be reserved online.

A FIRE BAN is currently in place on Manitoulin Island since May 31, 2021 due to extreme hazard level dry conditions. No open campfire cooking including charcoal is allowed. Please bring a small propane cookstove for your visit, as our community kitchen does not have the capacity to serve the entire campground.
The new owners are working on the schedule for public special events in 2021, including astronomy related events. We will update the astronomy webpage and announce on our Facebook Page when that information becomes available in June.
Private Special Events and Large Groups please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your number of participants, preferred dates, accommodations and type of event requested.
