Astronomy - Gordon's Park, Manitoulin Island

Host location of Stargazing Manitoulin and the Manitoulin Star Party, Gordon's Park is the perfect site for astronomy and night sky viewing with a fully functional observatory located in the dark sky preserve portion of the park. Exceptional dark skies, darkest in Ontario, 360 degree observing, no light pollution and a 7.5+ magnitude. Thursday nights in July and August are Astronomy Nights at Gordon's Park.

Rita Gordon is the original founding president of the Manitoulin Island Dark Sky Association (MIDSA) and is the organizations first honorary "Celestial" member."
Wilderness camping and cabin rentals are available in the dark sky preserve
on site.
